Iphone XS max

for about a month now my phone randomly says i don’t have a SIM card when i have never touched my sim card and i know for a fact it is in there. do i need to get a new phone or go to the apple store to have them fix it or something?

Start here: If you see 'invalid SIM' or 'no SIM' on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support


If that doesn't help resolve the issue, then I would second your comment on making a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Store to have them take a look and provide you with your options.
