Fast Foward in Apple Music

Why can we no longer fast forward songs ? I k is you can hold the skip button and it proceeds to skip some of the music, but there’s no way of telling how far you’re skipping, or even remember what part you were at. Can’t tell you how many times I have been 1 second away from deleting Apple Music as a whole and going back to Spotify because of this issue. I’ll be driving and either will accidentally skip, or just wanna re play what verse I heard, and I can’t get to it without complete locking the home screen just to drag the line to the part of the song you were at or think you were at and it be way off. Fix it back to where you can have the app open and you are tracking what exact time line the song is at.
