Spyware rootkit

Just out of curiosity, what is the line of support I would need to go through to find out if my iCloud was packing malware that could root my phone? I’ve been dealing with issues for years now, I’ve managed to go through several SEVERAL devices both Apple and PC. The latest Apple update I feel helped but I’m still worried that my accounts and personal privacy are at stake. Whatever I am dealing with I feel that it is powerful enough to compromise entire networks.

If your phone is not jailbroken it has no spyware. A phone can only be jailbroken by someone who has physical possession of the phone for 15-30 minutes. If you think it may be restore the phone to factory settings using DFU mode, and do not restore any backups to the phone.

Something that you should consider is if anyone has access to your Apple ID and password. This would allow them access to any content that you sync with the iPhone, but nothing on the phone that isn’t synced or backed up to iCloud. If this is a possibility see—>If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support
