AirPods Pro stop playing randomly when used with MacBook Air

I am facing this problem continuously wherein my AirPods Pro stop playing audio from MacBook Air. Sometimes it recurs within a span of 5 minutes. MacBook shows them connected with the Bluetooth, but the sound output automatically switches to Internal Speakers. There is such a glitch that even if I try to switch the sound output to AirPods again, it won't happen unless I disconnect and reconnect.

I tried the unpairing and repairing thing, but no success as such as the problem remerges again.
