Mid 2014 MacBook Pro is constantly crashing. Restarts 5+ times per day

How do I stop my computer from crashing all the time? It just freezes up in the middle of use, or even more commonly, it freezes and crashes when I open it up from being asleep.

Almost every time I open my computer , it crashes. Makes working very hard. And I use this computer heavily throughout the day on the job.

It's been crashing like this for well over a year. Used to just be once or twice a day. Now it happens so often it's unbearable.

Not sure if this is software or hardware related but I'm on one of the most recent versions of Catalina v10.15.1 (19B88)
