Help, Im trying to add a 4 digit house number to an online address form, and my 2018 Macbookpro keeps adding a comma . I have removed it, and it re adds it back in. I have unchecked the auto fill and auto correct and it is still doing it. Please advise

If Louis's approach does not work, the Police website may have used JavaScript that is triggered by input in that form field, and automatically reformats the entered text with comma punctuation.

Go to System Preferences->Language & Region, click Advanced...
Then clear the field next to "Numbers separator Grouping:"
It's in Safari, trying to fill out a police report, and I have tried other browsers .The city site just wants your house number in the box and there street in another box. For example 9999. but it keeps getting entered as 9,999. I can't remove the comma. I'm not typing the comma, it auto applies.
In what application is this happening?
