using apple pen with ipad screen protector

I have finally gotten my pencil...but, I really would like to put a screen protector on my ipad pro 12.9. Is the pencil still going to work? I only buy SuperSheildz protectors. :) Thanks!
Success with various screen protectors can vary based on the thickness of the screen protectors.
So, there is really no way to answer this question with any level of certainty.
There would be better certainty of success using thin film screen protectors versus glass screen protectors.
