VNC keyboard shortcuts not working

I have set up a vnc connection to work from home. I’m in the publishing and connecting Catalina to maverick (work) using indesign. Im having trouble with the option keystrokes. I try to type in the bullet symbol (option 8) and it won’t work. Nothing typed. I’m also using newer Mac wireless keyboard,

Is there an adjustment I can make to get the option key to work

Bug with "middle mouse click + CMD key mapped button" on mac OS Ventura 13.5.1 When having the "command" key assigned to a side button on the Logitech G502 Mouse, "Command Mapped to Mouse" + "Scroll wheel" works, however there seem to be issues with "Command Mapped to Mouse" + "Middle Mouse Click". For whatever reason. Logitech G Hub is not longer recognizing this combination from the mouse. It is like the middle mouse click is cancelling out the command key mapped to one of the side buttons. Can confirm this issue persists with another Logitech mouse I have that relies on Logitech G Hub. Issue is persistent throughout all of Mac OS. I have been using this key mapping setup for years yet after updated to Mac OS Ventura 13.5.1 it no longer works. I deleted and re downloaded G Hub but this didn't fix it. I have tried a lot of other tests... basically everything... nothing worked. I think there is an issue with the latest version of Mac OS regarding middle mouse clicks + key mapped buttons on mice. UPDATE: bought an MX Master 3S mouse and downloaded Logi Options+ to test. Still doesn't work. TLDR: Command key mapped to mouse + middle mouse click and hold doesn't work anymore with latest update to Mac OS Ventura 13.5.1. (I used combo in FL Studio timeline nav, Fusion 360 pan, etc) Will try and install a previous version of Mac OS until this hopefully gets fixed.

Monterey keyboard shortcuts I made a keyboard shortcut to send active windows between my (11" Air) laptop's screen and my (non-mirrored) external monitor. I used control+option+command+UParrow for one direction and DOWNarrow for the other direction. They worked OK under Catalina but now often do not work under Monterey. For clarity, those two macros trigger the command in the Window menu to move an active window to the other monitor. What could be causing this and is there a solution? I'd have thought that if there was a key-combo conflict the Mac would have notified me. Please help. Thx!

Why can't I invoke Mission Control from keyboard while dragging a window? Normally, while I am dragging a window, I can invoke Mission Control from the dedicated keyboard shortcut and drop the window into a different space. On one of my Macs I'm not able to do this. I first have to release the window I'm dragging, then invoke mission control, then click+drag the window to the desired space. I have two Mac mini's both setup from scratch with magic keyboards. On one of them this works as expected (as it does on my MacBook too) and on the other it doesn't. What gives?
