Activity Rings not updating correctly despite workouts saving properly to Apple Health

I have a MyZone chest strap that is paired to my watch/phone, all of my workouts have transferred to Apple Health but the last two work outs my Move ring (and today my Exercise ring as well) have not updated. Software on both my watch and phone are up to date, bluetooth is paired correctly, workouts all show in my history on each day but neither my move ring nor my exercise ring are recognizing the data. I've tried putting both devices on airplane mode for a few seconds, restarting both devices as well as modifying my move goal slightly to see if that changes things. So far no luck, any ideas?

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. I understand your Activity Rings are not updating as expected from your iPhone. I’ll be happy to help.


It sounds like you’ve done some great troubleshooting so far. Are you able to remove your MyZone chest strap, restart all devices, and pair it back? 


If that doesn’t help, you may want to unpair your watch and iPhone, restart, and pair them back together:
