iMac 5K 2017: Gray marks appeared in the bottom left corner of the display!

I bought an iMac 5K 2017 at September of 2017 from a local authorized retail store here in Greece.

Today, I saw a permanent gray mark on the bottom left corner of the display that is visible when showing a bright or white image at that spot!

I called both apple and the local retail/service provider store I bought the iMac from to ask them what I can do, and the only solution they provide is to replace the display for 700+ euros because I’m out of warranty!!

That’s a shame, because as I’m seeing that’s a very common problem on iMacs and of course I’m totally not responsible for this issue!! It just appeared suddenly without me doing anything wrong!!

I’m not touching the computer, I’m using it at a room that isn’t in direct sunlight even a single minute of the day and always in cool conditions (of course with air condition at the warmer seasons!)

I’m a very loyal apple customer for years now and I don’t deserve that type of treatment!!
