How do I video camera switch front to back while recording on iphone? I have to start a new video each time I want to switch front and back facing cameras. this seems like a simple enough situation since you can easily do this on Facetime.

Until then, concatenate the videos with iMovie.
Not optimal and not what you want, certainly.
Using iMovie or another video-editing tool, stitch the various hunks of video together...
FrontVideo + BackVideo + FrontVideo + BackVideo = LongerVideo
This is how just about every video is created. It’s rare to see a long one-take video.
This isn’t what you want, but it’s about as close as you’ll be able to get to switching input cameras in mid-recording, short of using two cameras.

You would need to switch the camera before taking the video in order to start filming with that camera: Take videos with your iPhone camera

It seems that switching the iPhone cameras should be able to occur in the mighty super duper tech giant Apple world while filming. It's bizarre that Apple doesn't care. It can occur during Facetime so what's the problem?
