Verizon POP-Ups

I've been getting "Verizon" pop ups on my Mac air. I don't do any business with Verizon but they're offering prizes or money to click on their request..I have gotten 30-40 ov er a period of several days. I have to delete all on my computer and reload Safari to continue. btw, I do have "Malwarebites" loaded on my comp.

Help?
