iOS update issues on my iPhone 7 Plus

I have the same problem with my IPhone 7. It is a manufacture fault

Most of us don’t know how to do this.

Most iPhone 7s are long out of warranty and Apple tries to sell you a new phone. 3rd party fix is probably the best idea. Think I’m going to upgrade to XR

I am having the same issue. Hopefully Apple fixes this soon or comes up with a solution. It is super frustrating!

I don't think this is a question about solely the update but more the update in relation to iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus and looking at the amount of comments on this original post it doesn't necessarily seem to be an isolated issue to just one or two people

After I updated to 14.0.1 my iPhone can’t get any calls. It is not like hardware problem. It change the buttons to answer and sometimes it freeze and I can’t press them. When I can, it answers the call but we can’t hear anything both sides. And speaker doesn’t work

I think exactly the same about this! This is just a scam from Apple and i don’t really have the money to buy a new phone! This is already my fourth iPhone in 5 years and I getting a bit sick of it to be honest!

I am trying a hard reset now. Not sure if it helps. Yet, may I ask you if it is a chip how the non-Apple store can fix? Does it back to old version of iOS? I bought the phone in Australia but now I stranded in Vietnam so I am not sure I can claim Apple from here to get replacement of the phone.

:( too bad, after almost a day to reset to a factory setting, the problems persist. I had a chat with Apple support before doing these and now they asked me to go to Authorised repair store who confirmed to me they could not do anything about this!

Apple is about to launch a new iPhone 12 but probably if they dont solve my problems there is no way I am with them any more for those after many years of using iphone!!!!

I did a hard reset but the problem persist. Still looks like the sound card is out of order. I hope the iOS 14 haven't ruined my hardware. If this is the case we are talking about a sabotage even if it happened by mistake by apple.

I am having the same issue after the update!!! I’m getting married TOMORROW and this has been an extreme inconvenience ! If you find a solution please let me know ! I tried restoring. Shutting off. Taking off case. My speaker button is grayed out. My FaceTime fails call Everytime.
