iOS update issues on my iPhone 7 Plus

i had similar issues few days after updating my iphone 7 plus to ios 14.4. Can’t make or receive calls (greyed-out speaker) including 3rd party apps. Voice memos is not working. Videos have no audios. Will this be addressed by a new update? I’m thinking to switch to samsung now. Huhu

Absolutely switch to Samsung. They are perfect, and no Samsung has ever had any problem! Except for being banned from airplanes because they have been known to catch fire. Oh, well…

You will find that very few people who post in a long thread bother to read any of the rest of the thread. And those who do read the thread rarely bother to post, because they already have the answer from reading the thread. It’s not you, its them, and thank you for your contributions to this thread.

For example, there is a (currently) 94 page thread about fixing a disabled iPhone, that has the solution posted 2 or more times on each page of the thread.

I have the same issues stated by many of the below. It's not a hardware issue, its an iOS upgrade issue. Good luck having Apple Tier 1 support tell you as much. Unfortunately, they have to refer to the script, ultimately having with the recommendation for many to go to the Apple store (reduced support due to COVID) and buy a new phone :)

Thank you. I will try. and if this problem happens again definitely it s a software issue. I was told by the repair shop that this audio problem happens to iPhone 7/7Plus a lot. Apparently Apple didn't reckon it s their fault!

I’m having the exact same issues. FaceTime hangs up immediately, no sound or mic on calls and internet calls, camera just won’t take photos. All since I updated to iOS 13.4.1 2 days ago. Ughhhhh

If it’s hardware then It’s their flaw too. Pretty fishy and bad that Apple won’t fix or replace. I always thought iPhone was dependable like a Honda... now rethinking that 🥵

I have done a hard restart and even a complete factory reset and still my microphone will not work. Not acceptable Apple. I would like you to pay to fix this phone. Thank you.

I have exactly the same issue, reset to factory defaults and it didn't help. have case open with Apple, no help yet

I’m having the same issue here my iPhone Apple care is expired and out of warranty and when I updated to iOS 13.5.5 this issue happens and Apple wants me to pay 506$ to fix it

I have the same issue. Auto upgraded to 13.5.1
