The header / footer fields in Numbers print view are not filling. I've had this issue before. but forgotten the fix.

Hi Chris, See the following tests. It seems the header footer fields will accept inserts from the menu (page / count / date) but will not accept free text.

Often a restart will remove the "cobwebs".
Save all your work (or don't save if it is not important), quit all apps, and restart your machine.
Any improvement?

Thanks Sarah, No, this is a problem I have experienced before. When I attempt to fill the header/footer fields in the print view (miniature sheet) nothing happens. it happened once before. There is a fix, but I can't remember it.

Correct Ian, I can not type in free text, as in the top left field. Someone gave me a fix for this in the past, but I can't remember it and the problem returned with an update.
