landscape in Face Time

I'm running OS Sierra 10.12.6. When I open FaceTime it's portrait (vertical). To try and make it landscape (horizontal) I go up to "Video" at the top, but "use Landscape" is grayed out. The only option available (not grayed out) is "Always on Top". What do I do to make it landscape?

Thanks - Ralph

Hello rarlyck,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having trouble changing the orientation of your FaceTime call from Portrait to Landscape. I'd be happy to share information that may help.

Take a look at the information in this article. Change your view of a FaceTime call on Mac. Also, you'll need to be in an active call prior to changing the orientation of the FaceTime screen.

If you're still having trouble test this in another user account: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac.

Take care.
