How to run MatrixGold, 3D modelling software on a MACbook Pro?

Hi all,

I will get a new Macbook Pro soon and would like to start learning a 3D modelling programme such as RhinoGold (https://www.rhino3d.com/6/system_requirements) or MatrixGold (https://www.gemvision.com/matrixgold/systemrequirements).

Neither are reported to work well on a MAC and I hope that booting up as a windows machine on start up might solve this issue. Maybe bootcamp could work? (https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201468)

Has anyone done this and is it a simple-ish solution?

Will it work well on the 13in Pro? (I will also have the adobe suite installed)

  • 1.7GHz quad-core 8th‑generation Intel Core i7 processor, Turbo Boost up to 4.5GHz
  • 16GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 memory
  • 512GB SSD storage

Will these Pro specs be future proof for these kind of programmes?

I have found one reference to this on the forums (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8099943?answerId=32333055022#32333055022) although it is an old post.

Thanks in advance!
