Intermittent Bluetooth Issues (Trackpad, Magic Mouse) with Catalina 10.15.4)

The BT connections to my Magic Mouse 2 and Trackpad 2 have been dropping every few minutes. Turning off the device and then turning it back on again temporarily solves the issue, as does restarting my 2019-vintage iMac. The *appears* to have started with the recent OS update.

Ideas?

I had issues before with poor motion response on the mouse, but since I upgraded to Catalina bluetooth has stopped altogether. bluetooth connection lost After operating flawlessly for years, recently my 2017 21.5 in iMac has been unable to maintain its connection to my mouse and keyboard. It started after I updated to OS Catalina. I have tried restarting the computer, resetting the Bluetooth module, reinstalling the system software, deleting the bluetooth preferences file and nothing has helped. The mouse and keyboard connect and seem to be operating properly, then stall. an alert reading connection lost appears on the screen. this is extremely frustrating and I have been forced to use a clunky wired keyboard and mouse. has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

Bluetooth Intermittent - iMac 2020 & Big Sur This iMac is just about 2 months old. Big Sur has been installed since it came out. I'm now noticing that the bluetooth has become intermittent. Here's what happens: Usually I'll notice it first in the mouse -- the Apple bt mouse that came with the 2020 iMac. It'll be responding slowing, like not very precise. Then it'll stop moving altogether. About 10 seconds later I see a popup on the screen that the Apple bluetooth keyboard has disconnected. Both devices are unresponsive for 10-15 seconds when the screen pop-up says that the keyboard is connected. Suddenly the mouse works too. This has happened three times today. In an effort to solve it I found a suggestion to go to Library>Preferences>Bluetooth and to delete two mouse bluetooth plist files. I did this and restarted. It did not make a difference. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I turned off bluetooth on my iPhone X and iPad Pro and the mouse works fine now

It seems every-other update fixes or messes with my Magic Mouse 2. I now have 10.15.4 also.It gets squirrely and I've tried restating, charging, running disk utility and it improves somewhat but certain apps are worse than others, right now it's Apple TV app. It's frustrating.
