Family Sharing not working

Once the child submits a request using the Ask button on attempting to download an app, the request is not showing on the parents phone? Help

Family sharing-Ask to purchase not working Looks like there was a thread regarding this question from years ago that no one ever answered. I have family sharing for my daughter's phone and I am supposed to get some sort of message when she "asks to purchase" something, but I receive nothing. We cannot proceed with actually downloading apps as a result unless I turn off the family sharing (which I'm not willing to do). Is there a solution to this?

Family sharing has stop working all of a sudden. I can still control my child’s apps, but I cannot see her daily usage and, if she needs extra time on an app, I don’t get the request notification. This started happening out of the blue yesterday. Why has my Family Sharing is malfunctioning? I cannot see my daughter’s daily usage. And if she needs extra time on an app, I don’t get the request.

Have the child try signing out of iCloud, restart their device, and then sign back in to see if that helps.
