Hi,

I just bought an iphone 11 and am looking to swap all of my apple music library contents from my iphone 8. I havent had any luck using "sync library" or "home sharing" in settings. Any tips?

Is this music you leased with an Apple Music subscription or music you bought from the iTunes Store (and/or imported from CDs)?

With an Apple Music subscription, you should have access to your library once you enable Sync Library (and sign-in with the same Apple ID):

Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music - Apple Support

If you bought the music from the iTunes Store (without an Apple Music subscription), then you can redownload your purchases:

Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books - Apple Support

If you imported from CDs, then you need to sync your iPhone to a computer that has those songs:
