Remove all links in a spreadsheet

Trying to find a way to remove Mailto: links in a list of copied email addresses. The source contains the links so turning off smart links does not help. Tried the solution shown in https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250058113 but it does not work for me.

Any Ideas?

How to remove multiple email links in database of email addresses I use Numbers to create a CVS file for a mailing list that I upload to Google Suite. The list itself is compiled in Pages. When pasting a column of email address from Pages into Numbers, the email links (having been removed in Pages) reappear in Numbers. Is there a way I can remove the links in the column of email addresses without having to do it one-by-one? This is a major headache and not a problem I had in a previous version of numbers. (Dumb idea to reinsert the links after they've been removed)

Permanently removing hyperlinks in Numbers v12.1 My goal is to remove many hyperlinks on my spreadsheet. My understanding is that it's not possible to remove them all at once so I've been painstakingly removing them one by one. However, the insult to injury is that the removal isn't permanent. Right after removing it, they're linked again (this happens after I place the cursor at the end of the email address and then space away from it). What am I doing wrong?

OK... I guess the solution in the earlier thread does work for me. I had stripped off the domain using LEFT('A2', FIND("@",'A2')-1) and the result was still a Mailto link. I was copying and pasting the resulting column with no luck. Seems I was copying the formulas, not the links themselves. Oops!
