Speakers are not working under Bootcamp

Hi there, I was wondering if there was a fix coming from Apple anytime soon in regards to my issue.


I've been using Windows 10 under Bootcamp on my MacBook Pro for a long while and it's worked very well for me in that time. I froze all automatic updates on my copy of Windows 10 and I was working with the one version of Windows 10 for most of that time, and the speakers worked perfectly during all of it. I was forced recently however to reinstall the latest version of Windows 10, and I installed the latest Bootcamp drivers along with it. Mystifyingly though my speakers completely stopped working, alongside my microphone and headphone jack. From what I can deduce the Cirrus Logic drivers are incompatible with the latest version of Windows 10. I've tried manually reinstalling the bootcamp drivers again and again but to no avail. Is this a known issue?
