XDR brightness

I am using XDR, with the color profile being set to XDR1600nits. I created a powerpoint, with the background being set to black (0,0,0) and a small square at the center being set to white (255,255,255). The luminance of the square is only 500 nits. How can I achieve 1600 nits?

Make text darker and increase contrast I want to make the text darker my old iMac (2011), iPad (2014) and iPhone SE (2nd edition) (2020. I have difficulty distinguishing the grey text from the light background on all my devices. I've tried using "increase contrast" and this just increases the brightness and washes out the test instead of making the dark parts, especially the text darker. A few parts of the screen are black so my screens can do black. Any insight, solutions, hacks?

FINAL CUT PRO IPHONE 12 FOOTAGE BRIGHTNESS when i import video footage from my iphone 12 pro max into final cut pro on my macbook air the footage is way too bright, i’ve tried adding the HRD effects tool and it makes it too dark. been on with apple support today for over 2 hours and they were no help at all and are ringing me back in 5 days? i need this clip edited by the end of today. please see attached how the video appears in my finder vs how it appears in final cut pro
