Apple TV subscription

I agreed to the 12 month free trial of Apple TV, that I was offered on purchasing my new iPhone 11. However I noticed when I played a movie tonight on my TV “Spies in disguise”, I was charged $19.99.

please advise what happened to free offer of 12 months.

The subscription only covers Apple-original content. That movie isn't part of it.
