iPhone XS battery health down 3 percent in 3 weeks

I have just got a new iPhone XS and in 3 weeks the battery health has already gone down to 97 percent. I normally charge my phone to 100 percent and use it all the way to about 5 percent. I just wondered if I am charging it wrong and how I should charge it in the future.
