Text Messaging Freezes - NEW PROBLEM

For the past 4 days, my text messages are freezing up. I try to use Siri for dictation but that definitely isn't working. Then, when I use the keyboard on my phone, there is an 10 to 25 second delay for the letters to appear. Most of the time it just freezes up totally so I just have to close down my text messages. When I just type out the letters without being able to see my sentence, it finally catches up and prints it out. When I want to go back to the main message screen, it seems like the phone is locked. I just tried to reply to a text and just to go to the text communication, I stopped timing it after 30 seconds! There are so many other specific problems with texting that I won't list. My e-mail is working perfectly. This makes our old problem of Siri throwing in words like catch, catchy, catcher seem like nothing! This new problem is horrible! I won't be able to text anymore! I have an Iphone 11 Pro Max that I got in October, 2019.

And, while I'm complaining, my new Iphone's battery is already not making it to dinner time on an overnight charge! I should get better than 5 months out of a brand new battery, especially for the amount of money they charged me for the phone. I also notice that my phone feels HOT for no apparent reason. I took off the case but I should be able to have a protective case on it.

Anyone else having similar problems?

I found the answer to my problem doing a google search My problem is called Keyboard Lag. And, IT WORKED!

If you are writing the message or an important email to someone and your keyboard is not able to keep up, then it means that your iPhone has the problem of keyboard lag. The solution to the problem is resetting keyboard dictionary which requires the following steps to do it.

Step 1: Launch the Setting app on your iPhone.

Step 2: Tap on General.

Step 3: Tap on Reset, you will have to scroll the way down to the button.

Step 4: Tap on Reset Keyboard Dictionary.

Step 5: Type in your password when prompted.

Then, I turned off my phone and restarted. The Keyboard Lag problem is gone but I still have the weak battery and Hot phone problem still.
