MacBook Air 2020 shows blurry when doing FaceTime

It is an outrage that Apple continues to sell us defective products. This didn’t happen when the late Steve Jobs was around. Could this be a mere coincidence? I am very very disappointed with the camera on my MacBook Air 2020 . I have had to buy a supplementary webcam for about £130 and it seems to work for now.

I see this is a common problem with the blurry camera. Just wondering can this be fixed or that's just the way it is? I agree with everyone this is unacceptable especially when phone's have a much more visible view with their camera.

Yes. Camera is terrible quality - particularly at night or varied light.

Have the same exact problem. This seems worse than the macbook I bought in 2014.

Yes my 2013 Macbook Air webcam is better then my 2020 webcam. I am going to call apple tomorrow about this. So upset when I noticed this.

Just used Zoom meeting for first time on my brand new MacBook Air and the video quality is horrible. I tried to make adjustments and no improvement. I will contact my Apple Store tonight!

No, I am stuck with it. There is no fix!

I am waiting for Apple to fix this through some software update. It really looks much worse than in previous versions of macbook air, which had the same camera. Como on, we are all waiting!
