Not able to send SMS messages

I’ve been having this problem texting non iPhone/ apple numbers. I can receive messages from them but can not text them back. It shows that they “delivered” but they never went through.

SMS Messaging I’m trying to message a specific person. I try to send the message and it keeps giving me the “Not Delivered” below the message. I’m trying to text someone through SMS, not iMessage. I tried texting a few different numbers, and they sent through immediately with no problem. I also tried to text this person on a different phone, and it sent through without an issue. I know that I don’t have a wrong number, because I have messaged them before. In fact, I was texting them just the night before.

unable to send sms texts from ipad New iPad Pro, but am unable to send a text from iMessage to a known phone number, says user not registered with iMessage and name appears in Red. When sending to same number from iPhone, the text goes right through. Any ideas for a fix?

I can’t send sms text with my XR I’m using on Apple ID for my two iPhones and the other one is not delivering text messages, what is the problem?

Start here If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If the link doesn't work then contact your phone carrier.
