I thought I had it solved, but it still happens. Only on occasion. But now I have also software causing performance problems and can't isolate. I have reinstalled high sierra twice.EtreCheckPro version: 6.2.5 (6C016)

Anything that appears on this list needs immediate attention.
Software/hardware problems - Software is causing performance problems.
Minor Issues:
Low performance - EtreCheck report took an unusually long time to run.
Looks like the Apple web site is having issues with attachments right now.
Guessing at a fairly common cause: are there any add-on cleaners, add-on anti-malware, add-on anti-virus, add-on VPN clients, or add-on firewall apps here?
Ran another Etrecheck with activity monitor open. At one point showed launchd at 50%, then later system profiler at 66%. It also showed Etrecheck at one point running at 90%. No other large spikes in cpu usage. I have deleted an antivirus app, one printer app and one app cleaner . Recently install a print app for HP 2545 printer and tried to set it up for win but deleted the wifi setup. Don't know why Etrecheck shows 90% other cpu use and 20 MB network under other. In activity monitor network shows no high usage. Still don't know why I can open my Etrecheck report in this post, but no one else can.
I (still) can’t see the reports.
One potential culprit can be a failing hard disk.
Hardware Test can sometimes show clues.
Hi, that link just gives me a blank page.
I just clicked on it and it opened. On this page. I have the report on my desktop. Am I trying to put in the support page wrong, I used the additional text icon on the botton.
Only have Malwarebytes. Had Intigo virus barrier, but uninstalled it. with built in uninstaller.
FWIW, I can open it. I assume the problem on ASC was fixed.
See anything on the report that I did not?
I didn't look really. I'm in the middle of something. I'll check in a few.
I just solved the problem. It was the wifi settings on the HP printer. I had not deleted them as I thought. Must have been trying to make a connection in the background.
Good work.
I just logged out and back in and I can read it. I'll check the drive, but I hope it's not going.
