Vertical lines(shades)

Hi, I have those vertical shades all over screen. What could be making this problem?

Looks like the display, backlight, or the graphics are failing. Looks like it’s an iMac of about a decade or so age, so probably not worth repairing. You’ll want to keep your backups current.
