Dragonfly Red DAC dropping out after a minute in Mojave 10.14.6

All of a sudden, audio from iTunes on my iMac delivered to external speakers via my Dragonfly Red DAC cuts out after about a minute. I've read 2017 posts re this problem with iOS/iPhones, but this hasn't been a problem on my iMac until recently (March 2020). Has the problem of "non-certified by Apple" products no longer working properly now been extended to OS 10+?

Well, I solved that problem easily. The AudioQuest web site has firmware updates for all of its Dragonfly products. I updated my Red, and the problem was resolved.
