Dell S2719DC and 13" MacBook Pro retina TouchBar 2019

Both devices do not work properly together. Blurry text/fonts.

I tried all options:

- font smoothing in system preferences

- turning off automatic graphics switching in system preferences

- forced RGB

- terminal command to adjust font smoothing: defaults -currentHost write -globalDomain AppleFontSmoothing -int 2

I also followed those instructions for forced RGB in Mac OS:L https://www.mathewinkson.com/2013/03/force-rgb-mode-in-mac-os-x-to-fix-the-picture-quality-of-an-external-monitor

I tried Dell online support and they told me that Dell displays are not tested with MACs which means that they may not work properly with Macs. I suggested to write down this information on Dell web site so people know that this is a ****** product.

One of my devices is ****. Maybe be they both are ****!!!

Nothing helped.

Try using Extended Desktop Mode instead of Mirror Display Mode. Mirror display also mirrors the display resolution. Extended desktop mode allows you to select the native resolution of the external display
