Why are my airpods pro dying so fast

I just got new airpods pro today and I noticed it's dying really fast. I wanted to find out if its normal for the battery percentage to drop every second/minute. Thanks!

“So fast” doesn’t really tell us anything. How long do they last when you listen to music?

The Pro models do more, so the battery life is actually shorter than for the non-pro versions. According to Apple they should last for approximately 3.5 hrs of talk, 4.5 hrs of music listening, on a full 100% charge.

I trust my math :-)

Remember that the 4.5 hrs estimate from Apple is based on very specific test criteria. If you listen to music at even a slightly higher volume, or your music has more base, your actual usage time will be affected.

With the charging case you’ll have approx. 23 hrs of music time. Try to enjoy your new toy and not worry so much ?

I can see that but are you sure though? Cause it's like every sec/min I check the battery it has reduced by either 1 or 2%. So i'm not sure if the 20% would have been able to take 1 more hour. I'm also probably worried cause I just got them so I would probably stop checking it so much after a few days
