I would like to use my photos as a screen saver on my Aplle TV 4k. I can see them under homesharing and play them as a slideshow. When I set it as a screensaver, from the homesharing app and the settings I get a black screen when the screensaver starts.
i've done it from my PC and Mac.
It did work before, but I suspect it is after an update that is stoped working.

Is 13.5 only available in beta because I can't install anything other than 13.4?
No, it's only 13.4.5 and only as beta yet.

I am not a developer (that I know of) but the selection to "Get Beta Updates" was there this morning, Sun. May 17.

I had the same question. Turns out you have to go to beta.apple.com and sign up for being able to download beta versions. Once you do that the download beta version choice shows up on the apple tv. I had to restart my apple tv but it did then appear.
Just updated to 13.4.5 beta and screensaver from large photo library works! Started with small subset of photos shared.
Any help on how to download the beta publicly?
go to beta.apple.com and sign up for beta program, then restart your Apple TV and go to updates screen
Under Software Updates, the only two options I see are “Update software and Automatically Update”. I don’t see “Get Beta Updates”.
