On iTunes' top bar menu:

  1. click on the second-from-left word (that's the Edit option) - a menu list appears
  2. click on the last item on the menu that comes up (that's Preferences) - that opens up the General Preferences options (and it will be on the General tab)
  3. on the General tab, just above the OK button, will be a drop-down menu for Language. Click on the language drop-down arrow
  4. On the drop-down menu, use the scroll bar to pull the menu options to the top (so you can see the first language option). You can see the scroll bar in the first of the two screenshots, below
  5. US English should be the 12th item on the list, select it, or whichever language you prefer. The drop-down menu will close and there will be a new bit of text below the drop-down menu. That message will tell you (in the current language of course) that this change will not take effect until you re-start iTunes
  6. Re-start iTunes
