Series 5 display issues ( swipe up/down) is not functioning

The issues started when my apple watch made an update not the last one, but one before.

So the display doesn't swipe up (control center bar) or down (notification bar). The functions right and left works, even the long press works, everything else seems fine with the watch except the problem written above.


After a hard reset all seems alright, everything works, even the up and down swipe. But after some time the issues come back and never leave until i do the hard reset again.


I don't think that watch of this price should be hard reset each hour. There has to be a solution in an software or somewhere else.

Been using this watch for five months, its in great condition but is really frustrating using it at the fullest.

Try unpairing the Watch from the iPhone, wipe it, and then pair it again. You can restore to a backup, or you can test it by setting it up as new and repair to the iPhone and then see if that helps. Otherwise, use the link above to contact Apple Support to start a support request.
