Front Camera not working after ios 13.4.1 update

So your front camera is working now?

how did you do what you did I have had the same issue with my iPhone 7. I would be greatly appreciative if you could share how you got the camera to work. Thanks so much and would appreciate your kindness p.

I have spoken in length with a lovely chap at apple who has has the technical team looking into this issue since last Friday. He has called me back now to say that Apple are aware of this issue and are looking into it. He has advised me to wait for the next update as he said it is a software issue. I don't know what to do know though as I need to have video meetings for work and have no working phone. The update some are saying has not helped. It is so frustrating!

I think its because you have not updated your phone correctly. I am also using iphone 7 but its front camera is working great in all the apps and as well as the main camera app. I think you should downgrade to some stable ios using itunes. Its really simple.

well my friends find a solution by replacing the front camera flex try you get original or good quality parts ,,
Maybe you are surprised that it works in the camera app and may not be damaged
but the fact is all is normal after I replace it ... it works fine with me, thanks for the useful sharing

I think it's the only way they could assume is a bug and release a fix.

At the moment the only solution they gave is another iPhone.

a little wonder indeed why the camera can be normal in the camera application and we think it's not broken,
but believe me I've done this by replacing the flexible front camera with original parts or can be said to be of good quality!

this works for me and one of my friend's iphone,

maybe an update has caused the system to reject parts that are not quality, maybe!

after updating my Ios 13.4.1 im also having issues regarding my front camera, when i take a selfie photo without flash it is not seen or save in the photos app, then it begin to crash and force close itself. But when i take selfie with flash on it works perfectly fine, and also burst shots it works and save instantly in the photo app. Third party apps like facebook messenger instagram snapchat, may front camera works fine. Can please anyone recommend what to do or how to fix this? I tried already the reset all settings, reboot, and even updated to the latest version of 13.5 but nothing change i still having this issue.

I have experienced this since iOS 13.4 and always think my camera is fine because I can take photos in the camera application but when the video mode when reversing to the front camera the camera freezes, so does Instagram, wa line etc ,, if you experience things do the same to change the flex cable of your camera, and all will be normal

How come it is because of the hardware issue?, everything was working until we update to this 13.4.1/13.4 iOS version, so are you saying this update caused the hardware issue for all these people randomly ?.

This issue is definitely caused by iOS Software update and Apple customer care has confirmed the same and they said they are working for a possible fix. you may have had a hardware issue but we don't. We will wait for Apple to fix it.

I have been doing this discussion since update 13.4, via Twitter, forums, Facebook etc. Even the diagnosis of Apple did not mention that my hardware is broken, but whatever it has all been normal after I replaced it ... Apple is indeed mysterious to my iPhone users since 3gs and things like that this indeed often confuses ordinary people

I’m having problems with the camera (sabe problem of the discussion) and with the battery.

My battery ia draining very fast, even with 100% of capacity. In 10 minutes of use in the economic Mode, it drains 10% of the battery. This also Start to hapen when o Up dated the iOS. Does anyone having problem with battery too?

I just updated the new version 13.5.1 and the front camera issues are the same again 😡 the front camera isn't working again and snapchat is still crushing CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO FIX IT because this is to much

Unfortunately they have not fixed it yet... this issue is absolutely ridiculous and should be fixed immediately. It’s been over a month now that we’ve been dealing with this and after 2 updates it still hasn’t been fixed
