For some unknown reason, the Installer responsible for PKG installing has failed to do its job.
Any PKG file I install does this. I even tried older versions of the installer software, to no avail.
Below is what I see.
Is there some error report that I can check for troubleshooting? I have no idea what happened. 10.14.6 Mojave.

Make sure the app is compatible with Mojave 10.14.6.
Are you running any anti-virus or other security software or cleaning apps? Those apps may be interfering with the installer. If you are running any of those apps, then uninstall them by following the developer's instructions since none of those apps are needed on a Mac as they usually cause more problems than they solve plus they impact system performance.
Try installing the app from Safe Mode.
Edit: Try rebooting the computer and trying again.
