I just got an email to recycle my iPhone X bc I’m trading it in for the iPhone se it wants me to sent it within 7 days but I am using the iPhone X until the new one comes in can I wait and send it in when the se arrives?

Brightstar is Apples recycle partner, I would suggest you either contact them or contact the Apple Online Store now and point out the issue you are going to have. And if you are getting money for your recycle make sure you take several pictures showing the current condition of your iPhone and a video showing that it is in working order and save those.

If the new one arrives within the next 7 days send your old one back when the new one arrives. If it takes long than that contact the Online Apple Store
