Iphone 11 not receiving text notifications

Yesterday i started no longer receiving text notifications from my boyfriend out of the blue. I still receive the messages but there’s no notification on my Home or lock screen, no vibration or text tone. I tried a forced restart, deleting then adding his contact again, and even restoring my phone completely. His number is not blocked, the Do Not Disturb is Off. He receives my texts but he also can’t see that i have Read his texts. He has the iphone 11 Pro Max. Both updated to the latest software. Neither have AppleCare but are still under warranty. I still receive his phone calls which ring and vibrate but the texts do not.
