Photostream works only when ac power is connected on my mbpro!

Hi, on my Mac Book pro photostream works only the device is connected to AC power. I tried several times to turn it off and on again on battery mode, but it doesnt' work. Any suggestions? Thanks

My MacBook air photos app has been very glitchy My MacBook air photos app has been very glitchy; shows 2 photos at once layered on top of each other, has unexpectedly quit several times, all in the past week. I'm using Monterey 12.3.1 M1 2020 I've restarted but it doesn't help.

power supply I have a perhaps obvious question - but not for me... When I stream on my mac, the battery goes down (cause of my hard working software - I know) but why can I not continue streaming on the power supply only, even if the battery is low? If the battery has charged like 65% and more it works most of the times, but if lower, the battery goes down on red and switches into save mode and shuts down. Is it possible to somewhere set the computer to only use power supply and where do I do it in that case?

Resetting SMC could solve the issue.
