Question: ITV Hub App

I have had a subscription to this app for a long time & use it on both my iPhone & iPad. However, for the last few weeks (possibly since the last update) I have not been able to open the app on my iPad. When I select it, the screen goes grey before reverting to the home screen.

I have asked the app owners to advise but have had no real help. I've cleared the cache etc as suggested in other support forums but still no change.

As it is rather difficult for me to watch programmes on my iPhone (too small), I will be pleased if this can be resolved asap. I am aware that many other iPad owners are experiencing the same problems when using this app.

The only recommendation would be to delete the app and try installing it again. No one woudl be able to provide assistance with that except the app developer. They are responsible for providing support for their app. If you have seen others with the problem, then the developers need to step up and fix their problem.

It isn’t working on Apple TV 4th Gen either. Says the App needs purchasing yet go to App Store & it shows a circle in the box to purchase/download. Apple TV is on tvOS 13.4 also.


Phone app works though on my iPhone 11 Pro Max running iOS 13.4.1. Grey box only on my iPad Pro running iPadOS 13.4.1

If paying for a subscription to the Plus service, tell them you want a refund & cancel it if they don’t provide a working app as that is what you want it for. When they start losing subscriptions it will force them into doing something to fix the problem.
