Exporting iMovie file has failed

Hello out there,

I cannot save my iMovie file. I get the following error message:

Exporting "pops.mov" has failed.

The operation couldn't be completed.

(com.apple.Compressor.CompressorKit.ErrorDomainerror -1.)

I am using High Sierra Version 10.13.6.

I have iMovie version 10.1.7

I have 192.72 gb available of storage on my hard drive.

My movie is 19 minutes long. Don't know how to get info regarding its size.

Somebody please help!

thank a bunch

Problem solved! I took your advice, Rich and called Apple Tech Support. The person helping me was excellent and all I had to do was reinstall iMovie.

He had me trash my current version of iMovie. He assured me all my projects would be saved. And they were.

After that I went to the App Store and downloaded the most compatible version of iMovie for my operating software and voila!

My projects were saved and I was able to export my movie successfully.

Happiness!
