File shows clean when I open after clearing all track changes but when recipient gets it, all comments show up. What? You will probably have better luck on the Office for Mac forums hosted by Microsoft. In addition I would strongly recommend you upgrade to Office for Mac 2019. When you get your next Mac your current version will not operate at all.
