When I type in an my email address on a website, as soon as i hit the @ symbol it brings up my email address and adds it to the form
How do i stop this from happening?

You do not say what browser ? Have you tried an alternative browser?
What is the @ the @ symbol(?)
From your Safari>Preferences>Autofill you can deselect options here or make edits:

Sorry yes that was the @ symbol and its in both safari and Chrome, it just did it here when I typed @ it wants to auto fill with my email
As soon as i hit the @ symbol it brings up my email address and adds it to the form
