I recently download the new OS to my computer and now the escape button has been removed from my Touch Bar. I have tried going in through system preferences and adding it back but it isn't even an option. I have read the apple support page about the Touch Bar. I don't want to assign another key as my escape button. Does anyone know how to get it back?

I saw that a while back. I couldn't figure out how to get it back. It just reappeared. I might have restarted or something similar. Can't pin it down to anything I can remember.

For some reason I forgot that when in doubt restart the computer. My escape button has returned! Thank you.
