I know how to strip silence, but is this process possible?

Hello all! I've searched many forums (including this one) and asked a lot of groups and cannot find an answer. I'm working on editing a lot of spoken word and dialogue in LPX and there's a lot of silence that needs to be edited out. I know how to strip silence, but my question is: after the silence is stripped, is there a function in LPX that'll batch process and bring all the leftover audio together in a single process? So, I'd like to strip the silence and then bring all the spoken parts together in one fell swoop, not moving one region together and over at a time, that takes too long. If LPX cannot do this, is there another program that will? Thank you all for your time!
