Pair Wireless earphones to Macbook Air

Hi.

I can't seem to pair my wireless AFTERSHOKZ earphones to my Macbook Air.

I'm using the OS X El Capitan and my bluetooth is switched on but to no avail. Bluetooth keeps searching for the device.

I have attempted in restarting my laptop as well as my earphones. Nothing worked.

Bluetooth earphones aren't showing up as output device on mac So I've connect my bluetooth earphones to my mac and the quality of sound of wayyy down than usual. I check everything and find out that there isn't an option for output device for my earphones, only the internal speakers, even though it's still playing into my earphones. Also to note that sometimes when I connect the headset after forgetting the device, it comes up with "A new network interface has been detected: The "Bluetooth PAN" network interface has not been set up. To set up this interface, use Network Preferences. It's starting to get real annoying, I've tried resetting my earphones but that doesn't even work

Bluetooth headphones not connecting with Big Sur...but just on iMac Others have posted about this same issue, but I wanted to chime in: last week I installed Big Sur on my iMac and MacBook, and now my iMac, but not my MacBook, is incapable to holding a connection to my bluetooth Marshall Major III headphones. It connects but then drops a few seconds later. I've looked up and tried many of the most common fixes, but none have worked. It's strange that my iMac can't connect, but my MacBook can, even though they're running the same OS. What gives, Apple?
