Still Frame

How do I select a still frame from imovie?I have the latest download with Catalina 10.15.4

Hi, Dr_Flummoxed,


Move your cursor in the timeline to the frame that you want to capture. Then do a Share to Image (Share Button/Image) instead of a Share to File. You will get a still on your desktop. Alternatively, you can take a screen shot of the frame from the preview screen (Command/Shift/4 and press drag an outline of the preview screen). You will get a .png image on your desktop.


Another way would be to do a Control-click/Add Freeze frame to the clip, and then cut out the freeze frame.
