Hi, I accidentally changed my keeping message history from forever to 30 days, and now my messages are deleted except of the last 30 days, but I changed the setting back to forever, will my messages still be deleted from now?

If you sync messages with iCloud (Settings > Your Name, iCloud, Apple ID, iTunes & App Store > iCloud and messages is turned on) they are gone unless you have a backup which was made before you started syncing with iCloud.

What about if i changed my settings to forever again, will the messages still get deleted?
It won't restore messages already deleted, but it will keep messages moving forward.

You're welcome. Personally, I keep messages for a year, then they are automatically deleted. If I have a message which is important enough to keep, I copy it into a note.
